Participation in an international conference provides an opportunity to learn about new ideas and pedagogical approaches that contribute to the development of students’ thinking. The conference materials are interesting for review (convenient format), discussion, and practical application. Many thanks to the conference organisers for a rich and productive programme.

The experience from the moment I started preparing my board, then working with the methodological boards, and attending the online meetings at the 2024 conference has been very positive. You won’t regret participating in such a conference—well-organised and productive. The organisers have thought of everything! If you want to delve deeper into learning based on the Thinking Approach, come back in two years!

Lessons for teaching thinking was a very relevant topic for professionals. The conference offered a wide range of materials for teachers: both for those just starting out in this direction and for those who have long been organising research-based lessons, helping students master tools for solving learning challenges. It was very useful to work on the methodological boards where we compared different teaching approaches. The tasks provided by the organisers also helped the participants to understand specific aspects of developing thinking and supporting teachers. Thank you to the authors of the materials and the organisers!

This is my first time participating in such a conference. I liked the format, where each participant first uploads their own materials and then gets acquainted with the materials of others, with the opportunity to respond to various questions. Quite detailed information is provided on the chosen topic, including both theoretical and educational materials, along with video and audio recordings, which undoubtedly captures participants’ attention. There is also the possibility to use some of the materials in one’s teaching practice.
(Mavluda Tovbaeva, assistant professor, Tajikistan)
A very promising and modern conference format, which we will adopt as a model in our own work. Engaged and insightful organisers and participants.

I really like the format of the conference. Working on online boards allows you to engage with the material that is most relevant to you. The subsequent discussions then highlight the points that intrigued the conference participants. Here you become an active participant, not just a passive listener.
