The aim of the task:

• to look at the police from the different perspective.

Description. During the unit Community Helpers we discussed with kids about police office and  officers. They already had information about this profession. So I created a short 5 minute game: The Police in a different way. As our 4-5 year old class is still learning English and different kind of pictures are usually helps to learn new words, I set a picture of police officer in the middle and random things around. The kids were asked to pick up a picture and explain what is a connection with police.

It was not easy in the begging, but later we got the answer- he needs berries to eat; he needs cat, because the cat can smell where the bad people are; cake is for eating something fresh; chair- because you can get tired of standing.
