Below are some of the adverts produced by pupils (yr 5) when they were given the following task:(see Making dog adverts Lesson 2)
Your parents want to sell your dog. You love it and you don't want anyone to buy it. Make an advert for the dog so that no-one wants to buy it. OR You hate the dog and you want someone to buy it at once. Make an advert for the dog so that people will want to buy it.
1. YOU WANNA PET? - BUY A DOG!!!
He's really evil. He has really big, sharp teeth. He eats you and your other pets when you're asleep. He's 90 years old. His parents are in jail. He's really old. He only costs 3 million dollars. If you want this dog, call this number: 04038011.
2. BUY THE DOG, PAW!
The dog's price is 5 cents. The dog's name is Paw. The dog loves playing! The dog is a puppy. The dog is one month old.
3. BUY THE DOG!
It costs 200 euros. Its kennel is free, its basket is free, its collar and lead are free. The dog's name is Jesper. He's a boy.
4. DOG FOR SALE!
Cute girl dog called princess. She's two years old. She doesn't like cats. She likes to play football. She is very energetic. She's beautiful and friendly. 100 euros.
5. DOG FOR SALE!
The dog is crazy. He doesn't obey. He eats shoes. He isn't well-trained. He isn't house-trained. He pees on the rug. He jumps on the table. He is very ill.
6. DOG FOR SALE!
The dog's name is Max. Max is very kind and cute. Usually he eats nuts and raisins. He isn't very well-trained. He loves playing with people.
7. DOG TO BUY!
The dog's name is Cow. The name cannot be changed! the dog is old and sick! He doesn't obey. He smells bad. He costs $2500.
8. DOG FOR SALE!
It's lovely. Its name is Susan. It's young. It likes children. It's fluffy. It likes to play with a ball. It costs £300.
9. DOG FOR SALE!
She's ugly. She doesn't like people. She's plump. She chews chairs. She looks like a crow. She is stupid. She smells. She costs £1000000000000.99.
