The aim of the task is to address the learners' attention to the two different word orders in Danish main clauses: inverted word order and not inverted word order. After doing the task the learners should know the difference between the two word orders and be able to identify them in sentences. I also hope that increasing the learners' awareness of the different structures will help them to use the structures correctly in their own speech.
Target group: beginners (A1-A2)
Maybe it is a good idea to tell the students that you are working on word order in main clauses, because there might be some other logical possibilities for sorting the sentences (I didn't investigate that).
